In the last race of the season held in Snowshoe (USA), Tracey Hannah won the Women’s DH World Cup and Vlad Dascalu won in the XCO U23 category. Both of them use Galfer Bike brake components on their bicycles.

After a very stable 2019 season, Tracey Hannah (Polygon UR) has made it. After achieving 2 victories climbing the podium at every race, the Australian rider became DH World Cup champion in the Women's Elite category in a truly heart-stopping final. In order to finish in the top 6 in Snowshoe, Tracey needed to beat Marine Cabirou. And so she did. Hannah obtained the 5th position and became the world champion by a 30-point difference. Tracey has used Galfer Bike brake products in her Polygon XquareOne DH during all season, switching between Disc Wave® DB004W and DB004W2 discs, as well as compound brake pads: Pro G1554T (green) and Advanced G1851 (red).
In the male Elite category, the best performance was that of the French rider Baptiste Pierron (Dorval AM Team), who obtained the 17th best time in the last race of the year.

In the Cross-Country specialty, there’s also great news for the Galfer Bike representatives: a title and two podiums. Vlad Dascalu (Brujula Bike Racing Team), who recently became U23 World Champion, also won the World Cup of his category in the US. After having several mishaps at the start of the race, Dascalu managed to get back in and ended up in the 4th position, which granted him the points he needed to win the championship. Thus, Vlad Dascalu has won all the competitions in which he’s taken part this season 2019: U23 World Championship, U23 World Cup, U23 European Championship and Romania National Championship. Without any doubt, it has been an extraordinary season for this Spain-based Romanian rider.
In the same category, also noteworthy is the podium of Jofre Cullell (Megamo), who ended up in 2nd position in the XCO U23 race.
Finally, in the female Elite category, double podium for Galfer Bike representatives. The British rider Annie Last (MKC-ekoi-Orbea) led most of the race and managed to obtain the 3rd position, whereas the Australian rider Rebecca McConnell (PMR Team) got the 4th position.
All the Galfer Bike riders use DB002W fixed brake discs and Advanced G1851 brake pads.
